Family Partnership Agreements

Head Start uses family partnership agreements to identify and work towards parent generated goals. Family Service staff will be in contact at least monthly to check in on the progress towards success and to help you develop new goals.

Parents are given access to community resources in areas such as emergency assistance, educational opportunities, parenting classes, employment training and counseling. All members of a household, or any member considered to be an integral part of the family’s development, is included.

We address the needs of homeless families with children by making homelessness an automatic eligibility into Head Start.

Family Service staff offer training on such topics as parenting, substance abuse prevention, grandparents raising grandchildren, internet safety, domestic violence, child abuse, stress management, conflict resolution and alcohol/drug abuse.
