The first day of class many of our friends and our teachers are filled with nervous butterflies. My class at Park 1AM is no exception to this. Teacher Sam and I (Teacher Nikki) were so excited to see so many returning smiling faces to our classroom this summer but we were also excited to meet many new smiling faces as well.
The first day of school many of our friends were quiet and kept mostly to themselves, practicing parallel play rather than joining in with other friends. However that didn’t last very long. As the students said good-byes to each other on Thursday we heard them saying only 4 days tell we see each other again, and I love you, and I miss school when I am at home.
Summer session may only be 4 weeks long but these students are excited to be at school and we are excited to have them here.
