Learn about the Second Step curriculum for teaching social emotional skills. In this session you will be introduced to the parts and sequence of the curriculum along with opportunities to practice some of the activities.

This session will include information about Kindergarten Transition and Child Plus such as helpful reports and where and how to document. We will also talk about Transition Summaries and what information to include in them. Ideas for child & classroom activities and resources for families will also be shared.

This session will cover tips and tricks for collecting documentation for assessment. We will look around the classroom to find opportunities for the whole teaching team to help gather information about the skills of young children.

How to spot potential hazards (adult safety) and how to prevent common workplace injuries in the classroom. Hands on practice with incorporating the SAIF Simplicity techniques.

Our fall training on this topic ran short of time so we are trying again! This session will address how room clears fit within the PBIS model, discussion of what makes a successful room clear, and essential elements that need to be in place. We will also spend some time planning for what a room clear might look like in your classroom.
