SUMMARY:PBIS Module II:  Teaching Social Emotional Skills
DESCRIPTION:This month for our new teacher training series\, we will be making up the training we missed back in March when the Snowpocalypse (aka Snowmageddon) happened.  The topic this month is PBIS module 2: Teaching Social Emotional Skills and is most appropriate for Preschool staff (EHS staff can pass on this one).  We will be learning about supporting SE learning across the day\, teaching friendship skills\, supporting emotional literacy\, teaching self calming skills\, and problem solving skills.  The training is offered twice and staff are welcome to attend whichever session best fits their schedule.  Although designed for new or newly promoted Teachers and Head Teachers\, any staff member may attend with their supervisor’s permission.\n\nThursday\, May 2 in Whiteaker Meeting Room 7 from 3-6pm\nFriday May 3 in the Whiteaker Cafeteria from 8:30-11:30am
