SUMMARY:Math Learning Group
DESCRIPTION:At the teacher meeting we mentioned that we are starting a monthly professional learning group about Early Math. \nIf you are interested in joining\, our first meeting will take place at the Whiteaker site Friday\, November 22 from 12:30-2:00.  This group will meet once a month to learn about math concepts and ideas children are developing in early childhood.  The group will talk about how to implement those ideas in their classrooms or on home visits and will try out math activities in between monthly meetings. \nAt this first meeting we will talk about the structure of the learning group and together we will decide the day and time for future meetings.  Interested in joining but cannot attend this Friday?  Send me an email to let me know you’re interested and list times of day & days of the week that work best for you.  We’ll use your information when we are deciding our future meeting schedule. \nI look forward to seeing (or hearing) from you!\n-Kerry    [kholmes@hsolc.org]
