SUMMARY:Trauma-Informed Facilitation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Deepen your facilitation skills in this free\, two-part training June 7 & 21 \nRegister Here\nTrauma-Informed Facilitation Workshop\nJoin us for this free\, interactive workshop about the importance of implementing trauma-informed facilitation in your work. This is a two-part training\, June 7 & 21\, 9:00 – 11:00am\, led by the Trauma Healing Project\, and hosted by Live Healthy Lane\, Early Learning Alliance\, and United Way of Lane County. Be sure to add both dates to your calendar! \n  \nMore about the training:  \n“As guide\, bridge builder\, peacemaker\, process designer and taskmaster\, the role of a facilitator is to ensure that group members are able to fully participate\, that communication goes as smoothly as possible\, and that a group is able to successfully achieve its goals. \nFacilitation can be both rewarding and challenging and it takes stamina\, practice and clarity – even when the discussions are focused on fairly neutral topics. When individual and/or historical trauma is part of the equation – which it almost always is\, things can get difficult quickly. \nIn this very interactive workshop\, using a trauma-informed lens\, we will cover the structure and format of meetings\, meeting roles and tasks\, agenda and process design\, and how to handle disclosures\, disruptions and other facilitation challenges. We will also attend to emotional regulation\, relationship rupture and repair\, and pre-session considerations to promote safety and participation.” \nWe hope you’ll join us. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTrauma-Informed Facilitation Training\nPart 1: Jun 7\, 9:00 – 11:00am\nPart 2: June 21\, 9:00 – 11:00am\nAttendees must be able to attend both sessionsHosted virtually (via Zoom)\nZoom link will be emailed to attendees upon registering\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Today\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease register by June 4\, 2021\nFor questions\, email Senna Towner\, Director of Health at United Way of Lane County
