You will learn about the Homes for Good Project Based Voucher program\, rent and utility assistance programs and how to support parents/caregivers in becoming renters. We will be exploring the loose parts curriculum and get familiar with it once again. Terminology & definitions; Do’s & Don’ts; Inclusive language; Gender expression & gender identity; Strategies for creating a more inclusive environment; Pronouns & the importance of respecting them. No participant limit. \n_________________​​_____________________________________________ \n\nMaking Storytime Engaging\, presented by Lauri Noda & Sarah Coon \n12:30pm – 2:30 pm in the Grand Gym \n\nStruggling with keeping kids engaged while reading books at a circle or elsewhere? This training gives tried and true tips and tricks to keep children engaged and fun for all! Limit 20. \n_________________​​_____________________________________________ \n\nAll Aboard the Allyship\, presented by Transponder \n1:00 pm – 3:00 pm in the Grand Cafeteria \nGenuine allyship is an active\, consistent practice advocating for marginalized groups. This training will provide participants with a comprehensive overview of terms and definitions\, the responsibilities of an ally\, and the pillars of allyship.
