Young children can present challenging behaviors in the educational setting. Head Start of Lane County is committed to using Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote social competence and address challenging behaviors. Occasionally, young children present dangerous behaviors in the educational setting with the potential to injure themselves or others. In such circumstances, children may need more intensive interventions to help them learn appropriate behavior.
