Today is National Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day.
A huge shout out to our RDN Caroline Weber. We will take a moment to highlight some of the things that make our RDN, Caroline, such a critical part of our work at Head Start of Lane County.
From direct work with families, to food safety oversight in the facility, Caroline strives to improve the health and well-being of our students.
While her scope of work is wide-ranging, the overall goal is to provide care for our students, as well as to promote heathy food and nutrition. Plus she engages us in fun, curiosity, and education around food and food prep.
