Before 1250 Main Street became a Head Start Center it was a car lot. The modular went under major renovations and of course construction plans did not necessarily go as planned but in the end the doors opened and here we are 10 years later celebrating the success of 1250 Main Street and the partnership with the City of Springfield who made this location possible through a Springfield Community Development Block Grant. The Rotary also donated the wooden cupboards inside that added much needed storage space. What a great community project!
Five of the six staff have been teaching at Main Street since the doors opened: kudos to them for providing services to 260 families.
