10/29 UPDATE: We get .15 cents a pound so bring that heavy stuff: weight sets, rugs, books, tile, tools. If you have a parent (parents) that would like to support this drive and help staff the truck let me (Sami Allen) know. I have time slots available. I have the big blue bags you see in the picture. 10/28 UPDATE: If you have bags / stuff now you can bring it to Brattain stage for holding until the Goodwill truck arrives. Speak with Mary Groesbeck about where the stage is at.
Policy Council and Goodwill are sponsoring a Donation Drive to Natural Play-scapes. All you have to do is clean out your closets, kitchen, garage and bring it to the truck, located at 245 14th St, Springfield (parking lot behind the Abundant Life Church, between “A” and “B” Street.
When: Monday November 4 – Friday November 15. If the truck isn’t open, leave it to the side.
Goal: $1500 to purchase items to create natural play-scapes
Who: Everyone can participate: post to facebook/ twitter reminders/ bring it up in casual conversations/ take a bag and fill it up, challenges others to match or beat the number of bags collected.
