The Customer Care Plus program sends approved participants to NEDCO for Financial Education, and once the “Lifeline Classes” (Financial Edu. Classes) are completed, participants can earn $100 towards their EWEB account, and $25 for meeting with a Financial Counselor afterwards.

The Lifeline classes include the following topics:

Session 1 –Financial Concepts

Session 2 – Energy Education

Session 3 – Making a plan to budget and save

Session 4 – Banking and Credit

The next upcoming classes are going to be on March 3rd, and they will be provided at NEDCO’s classrooms (one classroom will have a class in English, and another classroom in Spanish). The hours of the class are from 6pm to 8pm, but all EWEB participants must register through the Customer Care Program (please look at the attached information to see who qualifies).

By the way, we have an awesome IDA Program where NEDCO provides a 1:3 match for people who are interested in saving for a home, a car, education, or a business. Please let me know if I can send more information through flyers, or if there’s an appropriate time when I can talk to parents about it directly.
