If you are having trouble seeing certain parts of websites, or some of the buttons and links on the web page don’t work properly, you might need to ask IT upgrade your browser or try a different one.
If you are using Internet Explorer version 7 or 8, please ask IT to upgrade to version 9 or 10. To find out what version of Internet Explorer you are using, click help on the file menu and choose “About Internet Explorer.”
Sometimes the menu bar in Internet Explorer is turned off.
The menu bar can be turned on or off in Internet Explorer. Here’s how to display the menu bar if it is turned off.
To display the menus temporarily
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Press ALT.
To display the menus permanently
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Do one of the following:
•In Internet Explorer 8, click the Tools button, point to Toolbars, and then click Menu Bar.
•In Internet Explorer 7, click the Tools button, and then click Menu Bar.
