The Council approved the 2014-15 federal non-competitive five year grant and budget. They heard that the State announced an expansion grant and that we need parents to “Fill their Seat” as part of an ERSEA recruitment campaign. Early Head Start will be hiring soon for the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting program – Home Visitor positions.

Committee reports include a book list developed by the Curriculum Committee and that the PC Events committee will be doing a raffle at the Head Start Fishing / Bike Safety Awareness Day. The first planning meeting is set for Friday April 11 from 1:30-3:30. Join us!

The self-assessment improvement plan was shared and approved. All items listed on the improvement plan are for quality improvement. We are in compliance in all areas. If you are interested in the plan speak with your RM.
