April is HSOLC Disaster Preparedness Month. Unlike most years- when we have a large, program wide Disaster Drill- we instead will be offering smaller activities throughout the month.
On Thursday April 13th from 10am to Noon- we are offering a 2 hour training event in the Whiteaker Cafeteria for staff who wish to hone their Advanced First Aid and Crisis Response skills with an operational exercise. Fake blood will be in use– so you may want to bring some “painting clothes” with you.
If you are interested in signing up for this event- please get approval from your supervisor- and send an email to vhaynes@hsolc.org. You must sign up in advance for this training event. You will get more details after you have signed up.
