September is National Preparedness Month. The American Red Cross and Northwest Natural Gas are partnering this Saturday September 7th, from 11:00-1:00 in Alton Baker park for a event that will feature safety preparedness demonstrations, kids activities,along with tours and materials from local emergency response organizations. The purpose is to help community members get prepared for anything. Northwest Natural will be providing its signature barbeque lunch. This event is free and open to the public. No registration necessary.
