HSOLC Staff were one of the many floats in Florences’ Grand Floral Parade

Head Start of Lane County decorated the bus incorporating the famous Rhododendron while featuring pictures of HSOLC children exploring slime, paint, blocks, books, movement, and toothbrushing. Our float also featured music from 1965 in honor of Head Start celebrating 60 years of service. Head Start programs started May 18, 1965. So, it was an honor to be in the Florence Parade on Head Starts birthday! Staff proudly walked alongside the bus float handing out goodies and applications.
