Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Day is celebrated annually on the 2nd Wednesday in March. Head Start of Lane County would like to recognize and celebrate our very own Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Caroline Weber! She is an expert in her focus area and contributes invaluable knowledge in all the work, while positively impacting child nutrition.
Caroline came to HSOLC in 2016 as the Nutrition & Foodservice Manager. She has a master’s in science (nutrition), is a Registered Dietician (RD) and a Licensed Dietician Nutritionist (LDN). Her skills in meeting with families to discuss special diets, nutrition, and the overall health and well-being of the children are invaluable. She has opened up our menu, helping create new “adventure” food for our HS population to try and enjoy.
CATCH week was a huge success due to her meticulous planning and execution.
