Worrying is normal. But there are strategies to help you get through your day feeling more calm and in control. It’s called Worry Time. It’s dedicated time set aside to worry. Worry is not productive. It’s not helping us problem solve. It’s not helping to motivate us. And it’s pretty easy to tell the difference between worrying and problem solving. With problem solving, you find solutions. With worry, you just find more worries.

National Head Start Association offers resources from All Mental Health whose mission is to increase access to mental health education with ideas and ways of dealing with our “what if’s”.  Check it out. you may learn new techniques that can help you feel more in control instead of letting negative thoughts and worry spirals trap you.
