For those of you who are PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) enthusiasts, Antiques Roadshow announced last night that it will be in Eugene on June 4th at the Fairgrounds. So many people want to go that you have to enter a drawing for tickets. Tickets are free, however, and you can enter here pbs.org/antiques. The limit is 2 tickets per household, names are not attached to the tickets so you can bring whoever you like. The deadline to apply is April 18, 2011. Applicants will be mailed tickets 3 weeks prior to the show (around mid-May), and starting May 6th you can enter your email address on the PBS website to find out if you were chosen or not. Please remember that tickets are chosen in a random drawing and are not first-come, first-served. If you are interested in having an item appraised at the show, each person is allowed to bring 2 items with them. If you have very large items such as furniture you must submit an application by April 18th, and if your item is chosen Antiques Roadshow will transport the item to and from the show at no cost to you. Good luck!
