Webinar: Promoting Empathy, Understanding Trauma (Part 1)

This Part 1 of a two-part webinar training will help us understand the impact of trauma on children’s behavior, their social and emotional well-being, and the health and wellness of adults in children’s lives.
The training will define trauma, describe signs and symptoms of trauma in young children, and identify strategies to promote resilience in children and the adults who care for them. The two-part training will provide teachers with tools to manage their reactions and program leaders with approaches to build organizational capacity to serve children and families impacted by traumatic events. A certificate will be provided to those who attend both sessions of the training.
