The May State meeting had some interesting workshops that the parent representative attended:
~ She learned new touch techniques to stimulate brain development.
~ She found “time bandits” in her life and has tips and tricks to change those time wasters.
~ She encourages all to write elected officials about the importance of early childhood education and to share your HS/EHS stories.
Approvals include hires, updated attendance policy and cash receipt policy (look for a separate posting about these).
The draft 2014-2015 school calendars were given out for review. This will be voted upon at the June 10 meeting.
