Policy

In case of emergency, employees can request a payroll draw up to 80 percent of
earnings to date of the request. Payroll draws are limited to 6 (six) times per program year.

Purpose

To provide an employee benefit in case of emergency.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees of the Agency.

Procedure

  1. Employees wishing to request a payroll draw should complete a “Request for Payroll
    Draw” form with their signature.

    1.  This form can be found on the HSOLC Website: Resources>Document
      Archive>Accounting>Request for Payroll Draw.
  2. Once the payroll draw form is completed, payroll drawings are then processed similarly
    to all other check requests through the Electronic Requisition system.

    1. Employees should submit their payroll draw form to financedept@hsolc.org.
  3. The completed request form will be scanned and attached to the Electronic Requisition
    request and processed according to approval policies.
  4. Accounting staff will verify the total number of hours worked in the period and the
    amount eligible to be paid prior to processing the drawing and issuing a check as an
    advance on wages.
