Good morning Head Start!
Ron Herndon shared the Head Start history yesterday expressing over and over again that it is families and staff that save Head Start from being cut or eliminated. Head Start of Lane County is a member of the National Head Start Association (NHSA) and as staff you are a NHSA member too. Our membership ID number is 350; the web site is http://www.nhsa.org/
Also, the Office of Head Start Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center (ECLKC) http://eclkc.ohs.acf.hhs.gov/hslc is another great resource for staff and parents. This site is used most often by consultants and managers, but there is a lot of great information for all of us.
