The Training Committee recommends speakers, and approve teacher quality training expense reimbursement. Don’t know what that is? Ask Mary Groesbeck You’ve met her during TEAMS training’s. She also facilitates the Training Committee.
The ERSEA Committee has lots to do with community recruitment from materials to in-person involvement at community events. Have you seen the recent posts of our Interpreters hosting a recruitment table in South Lane – thank you for presenting HSOLC so well! This committee also has parent representatives, who through their view give great insight into how we recruit. Through committee work, recommendations and design, Lane Transit Bus (LTD) has HSOLC recruitment banner on the outside of the bus. We have spots on the inside, but nothing compares to the outside of the bus! Job well done ERSEA Committee!
Safety Committee thinks about staff all the time. Did you see their recent helpful tips and tricks for working at home and ergonomics on the portal? They meet and assess staff accident reports to find solutions and recommendations to avoid future incidents. Thank you for keeping us safe and giving us opportunities to focus on our well-being through wellness activities geared towards better whole health: body-mind-soul.
